Position: Healthamp; Safety CoordinatorLocation: Sudbury, ONSalary: $75,000 - $85,000 YearlyIndustry: Construction/ Health and Safety / IHSA/ WSIBEmployment Term: Full Time / Permanent Rolesamp; Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring compliance with all HSE-related regulations
• Responsible for site-level implementation of all regulations along with ensuring a safe working environment
• Managing relationships with all internal and external members
• Being up to date with regulations and industry practices
• Responsible for performing daily audits to identify and controlling any hazards
• Investigate all incidents and perform the necessary steps to avoid further occurrences in the future
• Ensure all workplace injuries are reported within the required timeframes
• Complete incident reports as needed
• Travel and visit sites as required
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualificationsamp; Experience:

• Post-secondary education in occupational health and safety or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in an HSE role that involved managing, planning and implementing of HSE requirements
• Experience in Civil construction preferred
• Strong working knowledge of OH amp;S Acts and other applicable legislation
• Familiar with investigation and auditing techniques (COR/ISO)
• Experienced with WSIB reporting and IHSA COR requirements
• NCSO certification is preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft applications.
• The position requires traveling to multiple locations, valid driver’s license required
