The ideal candidate for this role would have a resilient personality, a positive attitude and a desire for career growth and advancement.As a Business Development Representative, will be responsible for driving sales to enhance the promotion of Life Insurance products and services to managing general agencies (MGAs). You will be required to share feedback on the product, processes, etc. to internal stakeholders to ensure continual enhancement of the insurance offer.This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sales aptitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Ensures alignment between stakeholders.
  • Provides monthly reporting of sales results for MGAs, and generates discussions on more productive business development opportunities.
  • Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects, understand their needs and pain points, and articulate how our solutions can address their challenges.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage and update CRM system with accurate lead and account information, track interactions, and report on sales activity and performance metrics.
  • Collaborates effectively with internal stakeholders to build capability and business growth.
Qualificationsamp; Requirements:
  • Experience in customer service or in new business development roles.
  • Life insurance license or willingness to obtain one (training and support provided)
  • Possess strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Proficient and comfortable in the use of CRM or sales tracking systems
  • Proficient in basic computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
  • Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Positive attitude, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn and grow professionally.
