Located in Campbelltown, Macarthur Square is a unique shopping destination spanning 106 #39;000 square metres and boasting over 320 different retailers.Reporting into the Centre Manager, the Operations Manager plays a vital role in the day to day operational activity of running the centre. You will develop operational strategies and take primary responsibility for the execution of short, medium and long term deliverables as well as the delivery of procurement, asset efficiency and sustainability strategies at a centre level.Duties for this role will include (but are not limited to):

• In consultation with the General Manager Asset Operations, National Operations Manager, Capital Works Manager and the National Building Servicesamp; Technologies Manager, formulate the property operational strategy at a centre level as well as delivering on the execution of the strategy.
• Execute the procurement, asset efficiency and sustainability strategies at the centre level.
• Work closely with centre retailers and the centre management team on any operational issues.
• Ensure continual operation of services including cleaning, security, building services and repairs and maintenance to optimise customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for the Capital Expenditure and OPEX budgets in collaboration with centre teams, identifying any necessary centre works and forecast of procurement costs.
• Report on risk, EHS and compliance issues at the centre level.

• Previously worked as an Operations Manager or Property Manager within retail property management.
• Tertiary qualification in Operations Management is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability developing mutually beneficial relationships with external service providers.
• Specific knowledge of Yardi considered highly advantageous.
• Sound knowledge of the relevant operations functions, OPEX, CAPEX, sustainability, procurement and compliance.
• Highly efficient task executor with a result oriented mindset.
