They must establish and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including other provincial ministries, outside interest groups, and other levels of government.Job Requirements:Education and Experience

  • Post-secondary degree in a relevant discipline (including but not limited to: economics, law, finance, commerce, public administration). An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Two years experience conducting policy analysis, including identifying options and evaluating implications of potential changes.
  • Two years experience providing advice and recommendations to senior staff in both written and verbal form.
  • Two years experience interpreting and applying legislation or working on legislative drafting projects.
  • Two years experience conducting in-depth analysis, identifying options and evaluating implications of potential policy changes.
Preference may be given to applicants who have:
  • Experience of environmental legislation and carbon pricing approaches.
  • Experience with legislation and the legislative process.
