Our vision is to create and deliver the most personal student experience in Canada, we welcome you to explore this opportunity to be part of our team.Manager, Indigenous Education Regular Full-timeDuties: This position reports to the Executive Director Indigenous Strategy and Reconciliation and focuses on Indigenous Education in alignment with the College #39;s strategic directives.The Manager of Indigenous Education collaborates closely with the Indigenous Education team to promote the success of Indigenous students. This role involves identifying and implementing effective practices, programs, and services that enhance access, retention, and completion in educational programs. Additionally, the Manager is committed to advancing truth and reconciliation within the College, ensuring the excellence of Indigenous Education #39;s offerings and services.Qualifications:

  • An undergraduate degree in Indigenous Studies, Education, or equivalent.
  • Three years of relevant experience working with Indigenous communities in an education capacity, or equivalent combination of education and experience within an Indigenous context may be considered.
  • Previous experience supporting Indigenous learners and developing programs and services aimed at enhancing Indigenous student success.
  • Through direct personal experience, a strong understanding and experience of contemporary and historical Indigenous issues, worldviews, cultures, practices and traditions.
  • Strong personal knowledge of Indigenous principles and ethics, with a focus on supporting programs that advance Reconciliation with and for Indigenous peoples in an educational setting.
