Job PostingBoswell & Crawford Bay Transfer StationsRegional District of Central KootenayLANDFILL ATTENDANT The Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) is inviting applications for the position of Landfill Attendant to workshifts at the Boswell & Crawford Bay Transfer Stations (AreaAREA 8— 8).BOSWELL/CRAWFORD BAY Reporting to the Resource Recovery Operations Supervisor,the successful candidate will be responsible for directingpublic activity, collecting user fees from customers andPart-Time, Non-Benefited ensuring the site is kept in a safe, secure and orderlymanner. This is a part-time, on-call position with nominimum guaranteed hours. The successful candidate willINTERNAL POSTING be available to work a varied shift schedule throughout thefull year (winter included) based on the operating hours ofthe site(s).TYPICAL HOURS OF OPERATION:BOSWELL TRANSFER STATION CRAWFORD BAY TRANSFER STATIONWednesday/Saturday Sunday/Tuesday (Early spring)11:00am-3:00pm 9:00am-3:00pmSunday/Tuesday/Thursday (Summer)9:00am-3:00pmSunday/Tuesday (Winter)10:00am-4:00pmREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: As a union position, all scheduling will be in accordancewith the CUPE Collective Agreement. Demonstrated ability to deal courteously and effectivelywith the public This is a part-time as and when needed position working Proven ability to count cash and balance cash out and up to 24 hours per week.
