Job Description

Rockyview Pharmacy, a leading Healthcare provider and one of the oldest pharmacies in Alberta, located in the beautiful town of Crossfield, about 10 minutes north of Airdrie, is looking for a full-timeor part-time experienced Pharmacy Assistant.Job Details:

  • Please note that previous experience as a pharmacy assistant for at least one year is a must.
  • Living close to the pharmacy (including Airdrie) is a bonus.
  • Part-time and relief shifts are available.
Duties:
  • Upholds and complies with company procedures, standards and policies in all situations.
  • Maintain inventory, ordering merchandise, and stock medications #39; shelves.
  • Support and assist pharmacists with patient care.
  • Dispensing prescriptions.
  • Accepting prescriptions from patients.
  • Data entry of patient care information.
  • Third-Party adjudication.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a pharmacy assistant is a must.
  • High school diploma or higher degree.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in computer systems and pharmacy software.
  • Excellent customer service.
