As the Business Intelligence (BI)amp; Data Analytics Lead, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, actionable insights and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making. Leveraging your expertise in Power BI, SQL, and programming, you will design and maintain scalable analytics solutions that ensure our business teams have timely and accurate data to drive strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, design, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to support business needs and strategic goals.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract, transform, and load data from MS SQL Server databases.
  • Implement automated data pipelines to ensure real-time or scheduled data availability based on business requirements.
  • Use programming skills to develop custom solutions for data processing, automation, and reporting enhancements.
  • Collaborate with business users to define reporting requirements and ensure solutions meet their needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with data integrity, reports, or performance in Power BI and SQL Server.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices for data visualization, data modeling, and database optimization.
  • Document processes, technical specifications, and reporting procedures for team reference and training purposes.
  • Provide technical support for existing reports, including monitoring and troubleshooting any report or database-related issues.
  • Stay up to date with new technologies, Power BI features, and trends in data analytics and programming to continuously improve solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5 years’ experience of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field with a focus on Power BI
  • Expertise in Power BI report creation, dashboard design, and data visualization best practices.
  • Solid proficiency in MS SQL Server, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
  • Medium to high proficiency in general programming skills, including but not limited to scripting languages (e.g., Python, C#, JavaScript).
  • Experience with ETL processes and integrating data from multiple sources.
  • Experience leveraging Azure services (Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Power BI Embedded in Azure, etc.,.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills (Optional):
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of other reporting tools or business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Qlik).
  • Experience with data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
