Job Description

Job Summary:The CNC Machinist is responsible for the accurate set-up and operations of various machine tools and equipment required to fabricate, modify, and repair parts and products within the shop. To timely maintain the equipment for operational efficiency and to avoid downtime. This individual is highly focused on accuracy, precision, and quality in manufacturing. Qualifications:

  • Capable of prioritizing their workload to achieve objectives on time.
  • Minimum 5 years experience.
  • Ability to follow all Safety Policiesamp; Procedures that are implemented and maintained, at all work locations.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Accurately set up and operate a variety of tools including but not limited to CNC turning centres and CNC machining centres, to manufacture, modify, and repair various metal products.
  • Skilled and precise in machining parts, and products to specifications using specialized machining tools.
  • Control quality during the fabrication process and make changes necessary to avoid errors in the future.
  • Accurately calculate dimensions and tolerances with instruments such as micrometers and calipers, etc.
  • Skill, dexterity, and ability to monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
  • Clean, lubricate, and maintain machines and tools to provide optimum operations efficiency.
