Job DescriptionMissionReporting to CIMA+’s Executive Vice President of Transportation, the Director of Transportation Engineering located in Nova Scotia will lead our transportation expansion efforts into the Maritime region. You will be instrumental in the development of our business in the Maritimes and will ultimately be responsible for performance, growth, and profitability of the group. You will implement new strategic initiatives into the market of the area working collaboratively with other CIMA+ sectors and bring deep market knowledge with a focus on transport planning, transportation infrastructure (Roads and Bridges) and similar markets.This role will be based in the CIMA+ Halifax office.Given that this is a candidate pool, please be advised that the process may vary and is open-ended.   • Identify, contribute to and lead business and strategic development initiatives for regional objectives and target client programming
  • Work collaboratively with other CIMA+ business lines to identify and pursue opportunities with Nova Scotia and Maritime Authorities and public amp; private clients
  • Develop a growth strategy and implement it with the addition of Transportation staff to CIMA+
  • Provide thought leadership, regulatory oversight and mentorship to the developing and growing team and your clients, both internal and external
  • Engage in development initiatives related to transport planning, transport infrastructure (roads and bridges
  • Championing safety and quality and ESG initiatives
  • Define, implement, and maintain appropriate operating standards and processes
