Job Description

Night HousepersonDo you like keep busy and moving Are you someone who can work independently while keeping focused and busy Do you have an eye for clean and making things look sharp -- floors shining and brass gleaming Are you willing to pitch in when an extra set of hands is needed Then you will be very happy working in housekeeping with our friendly hard working team so that when guests use our public areas (lobby, restrooms, corridors, etc.) they are wowed. In the role of Night Houseperson you will:

  • Focus on Details -- walk the halls assigned to you each shift to ensure the public areas are clean and tidy, caring for elevators, guestroom landings, the lobby, vending areas, etc. Be sure to report anything missing or in need of repair.
  • Be Organized -- ensure any areas assigned to you are kept stocked, clean and crisp.
  • Be a Team Player -- help the guests and your coworkers by pitching as needed including doing some of the heavy lifting.
  • Be a Housekeeping Ambassador -- Share a warm greeting and a smile with all the guests you encounter (and hopefully they will smile and say hello right back). Assist them as needed.
  • Be a Safetyamp; Security Agent -- follow your hotel #39;s established safety and security policiesamp; procedures. Anticipate problems and call management as needed.
