Forklift OperatorDartmouth, NSAdvantage Personnel is currently recruiting for a General Labourer - Forklift Operator role on behalf of our client in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Are you an experienced forklift operator looking for a dynamic opportunity that combines operating a forklift with various general labour tasks- This could be the role for you! Available Shift: Monday to Friday- Day shiftsRate of Pay: $18.00 an hour.Job Responsibilities:• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or production area.• Perform visual inspections of the forklift and complete pre-shift checks to ensure its proper functioning.• Assist in receiving and storing incoming materials and supplies.• Prepare orders for shipment by picking and packing products.• Support the production team by performing various labour tasks such as stacking, sorting, and organizing materials.• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.Qualifications:• Valid forklift operator certification.• Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or production setting.• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing assigned tasks.• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.• Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and prioritize duties as needed.#Generallabour
