This is a position with a permanent status. The Laboratory Technician will play a crucial role in supporting our research and development activities.Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8am to 4:30pmWhat you will be doing:

• Operate and maintain gas chromatography systems (GC-FID, GC-MS, etc.) for routine and complex analysis.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of samples from various sources (e.g., Soil, Water, and Tissue).
• Develop, optimize, and validate GC methods and techniques.
• Troubleshoot and repair GC equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Document and report results according to regulatory and company standards.
• Collaborate teams on projects and process improvements.
• Maintain laboratory safety and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor #39;s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Proven experience with Gas Chromatography, including GC-MS, GC-FID, and related techniques.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for GC equipment.
• Familiarity with laboratory software and data analysis tools (e.g., ChemStation, Empower).
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in team settings.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with complex sample matrices and method development.
• Industrial experience

Work Environment:This position requires a person to stand, sit and lift throughout the shift in a laboratory environment. Manual dexterity is required to perform repetitive tasks.
