Job Description

To learn more about who we are and how you can help bring our brand to life, visit us at www.dauphinco-op.crs.What you’ll do:Reporting to the Agro Division Manager, this position is responsible for the planning and day to day execution of the Agro Department. The position provides leadership, direction and oversite to Agro centre operations, programs, and policies to meet budgeted goals and objectives.Responsibilities for this position include the following:

  • Build strong customer relationships and ensure safety and environmental policies are procedures are achieved.
  • Provide input into tactical planning and plan, monitor, and manage a variety of internal projects from initiation to completion.
  • Follow the business plan, operating policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee and execute sales strategies, which includes managing and growing current customer base through identifying and pursuing prospects and growth.
  • Provide leadership to the team, including the recruitment, goal setting, performance management, training, and development of team members.
Who you are:You are looking for a career in Agriculture and you:
  • Degree in Agriculture
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal/communication skills
  • Are organized with excellent time management skills
  • Have demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Have 8+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • Understand that a CCA or P.Ag. Accreditation is an asset, but not required
  • Possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
