Job Description

To learn more about who we are and how you can help bring our brand to life, visit us at www.dauphinco-op.crs.What you’ll do:The Equipment Manager is responsible for the growth in sales of Ag Equipment as well as cross selling into other product lines in a strategic method, to better align and meet the needs of our customers. In addition, the Equipment Manager is responsible for the scheduling of day-to-day activities, ensuring adherence to safety and human resources policies.The Equipment Manager will:

  • Build strong customer relationships through an effective strategic marketing and networking strategy.
  • Working with the Agro team, ensure cross marketing of ag equipment sales by developing and administering a farm contact program with present and prospective customers, promoting all the services and products of the Agro Division.
  • Prepare, administer and achieve budgeted goals as it relates to the pricing, sales, margins, expenses, and inventory.
  • Develop, review, and obtain approval of annual operating budgets to ensure adherence and appropriate utilization of funds.
  • Oversee the completion and follow through of all safety and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures and ensure standards are achieved.
  • Provide leadership, including the recruitment, goal setting, performance management, scheduling, training and development of team members.
  • Require travel within the trading area and other locations as required.

  • Have strong interpersonal, and communication skills with demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • You are honest, trustworthy and results-oriented, with strong time-management and organizational skills.
  • Have an understanding of financial statements and in developing budgets.
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
  • An understanding of ag equipment and/or other Agro product lines and lubricant products considered an asset.
  • Possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
