Job Description

This is a full-time 18-month term position working 40 hours per week. At the end of the Term, the employee may be assigned further tasks based on availability and job performance.Payroll Administrator (18-month term) Head Office – Dauphin, MBThe Payroll Administrator is based out of our Head Office in Dauphin, MB and is responsible for the administration of the payroll and benefits programs for all locations across our various divisions, including Building Supplies, Concrete, Flooring, Truss Manufacturing, & Transportation.Responsibilities include:

  • Completing end to end in-house processing for bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls
  • Processing new hires, terminations and changes to payroll information
  • Reviewing payroll data and payroll preview reports to supporting documentation for accuracy
  • Preparation of Record of Employments within legislated timelines
  • Remitting and reconciling 3rd party payments as required
  • Preparation and distribution of T4’s
  • Administration of the benefits program
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who has strong communication skills, pays close attention to detail, and has good organizational and time management skills. The candidate must enjoy working both in a team environment and independently. Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification or working towards such certification would be considered an asset but not a requirement.We offer a full range of benefits and a positive team environment.
