Job Description

WE ARE HIRING - CAREER OPPURTUNITYWe have been serving the Parkland for 20 years and are looking for someone who is looking to begin a career with us as a Tire Technician in our busy repair shop.To ensure success as a Tire Technician, you should have good communication skills and be able to perform physically demanding tasks. Ultimately, an outstanding Tire Technician can work quickly and efficiently, while maintaining high industry standards.Tire Technician Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with customers about any issues they are experiencing.
  • Inspecting and assessing tire tread levels, wear patterns, valve quality, and overall health.
  • Recommending appropriate repair treatment or replacement of tires.
  • Repairing punctures and replacing faulty valves.
  • Installing and balancing new tires.
  • Studding tires for snow use.
  • Repairing and/or replacing tires on large equipment (Tractors, large trucks, commercial equipment etc.)
  • Conducting inventory and maintaining shop equipment.
  • Assist in other areas of the shop as needed.
Tire Technician Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements (Prolonged physical exertions, including standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing etc.)
  • Good mechanical aptitude with basic knowledge of tires and wheels/repair and replacement.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain from internal training during employment (Related experience considered an asset).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate effectively and professionally with team-members and customers.
