Job Description

Term of App #39;t: Monday - Friday, 35 hours per weekStart date: ImmediatelyReporting to: Associate Registrar, Enrolment ServicesSalary:Classification 10 $50,890.25 - $52,464.18 annually as per BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. Vacation (119 hours annually) is pro-rated, and front loaded. We offer competitive extended health and dental benefits, as well as time off for family illness, personal illness, and other special leaves. Closure during the Christmas Break (Dec 25 - Jan 1st) of each year is paid time off. Enrolment in the Municipal Pension Plan is mandatory for all regular, full-time staff, with contributions matched by the employer.Description:This position provides administrative and process support to both the Admissions team and College applicants. This includes fielding admission inquiries from the public, prospective students, applicants, and College stakeholders. The Admissions Assistant also provides preliminary qualification review, data processing, and record-keeping functions in the Admissions Office and generating established official communications for applicants.Qualifications:Required:

  • Two years related experience and 1 year of post-secondary education (office or business administration certificate preferred).
  • Experience and proficiency with a current version of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Preferred:
  • Experience with student records registration system.
