Job Description

M and J Woodcrafts is looking to hire anOutside Sales Representative.Duties:

• Evaluate customers needs and build productive long lasting relationships.
• Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing weekly.
• Lead Generation and follow-up campaigns.
• Keeps management informed by submitting weekly activity reports and work plans, as well as monthly and annual territory analyses.
• Forecast sales, developquot;out of the box quot; sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, marketing techniques, etc.
• Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
• Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
• Updates CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software on a daily basis with leads, activities, potentials, cases, and solutions.
• Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory.

Related Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven sales experience Track record of over-achieving quota.
• Experience working with CRM software.
• Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management Computer use competency.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Self motivated and driven.
• Product knowledge.
• Presentation skills.

Experience Preferred (will train):

• Preferred 3 yrs in Sales or Customer Service Position within Construction or Secondary Wood Manufacturing Industries.
