Job Description Protrans Personnel Services is hiring for a Stationary Engineer for a Manufacturing Company in Dieppe (New Brunswick)Position Summary:As a Stationary Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the operation and maintenance of our plant #39;s boiler and auxiliary equipment. Ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of these systems is key to our production process. You will be responsible for performing predictive and preventative maintenance, completing work orders, and ensuring the steam system operates effectively. Your role is instrumental in maintaining our commitment to safety and food policies.Pay Rate: $28.08/hr (Negotiable based on experience)Duration: 6 Months to 1 Year Contract positionMust have Class 4 Power Engineer License.Key Responsibilities:Perform and update predictive and preventative maintenance tasks to avoid downtime.Oversee the operation of plant boilers and auxiliary equipment, ensuring compliance with public safety regulations.Complete work orders promptly and efficiently.Ensure proper housekeeping in critical areas and identify necessary spare parts.Assist in sourcing parts as needed and maintain the plant #39;s steam system.Support maintenance technicians and participate in shift changes, ensuring seamless communication.Maintain a clean work area and adhere to company safety and food safety programs. Requirements:Education: Secondary School Diploma or GED.Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience.Licenses: Must possess a Class 4 Power Engineer License.Preferred Experience: Knowledge of boilers and boiler systems.Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities.
