Vous recevez largent versé aux tribunaux, traitez directement avec le public et en particulier les personnes qui se représentent elles-mêmes en cour, entrez et récupérez des données dans les systèmes automatisés, scrutez, enregistrez et traitez les documents, maintenez les systèmes de classement, surveillez les nouvelles lois et procédures ou les modifications aux lois et procédures, et travaillez au sein dune équipe pour élaborer des solutions liées aux nouveaux processus. Vous pourriez également devoir participer au tribunal comme commis-greffier pour lappel des causes, laffirmation ou lassermentation des témoins, des interprètes et des traducteurs, et lentrée des données et des résultats.À votre sujetPosséder quatre années dexpérience connexe, ou une combinaison acceptable dexpérience connexe et de formation, avec une connaissance du système juridique. Formation postsecondaire dans une discipline connexe, avec expérience dans un environnement juridique est un atout. Expérience et aptitudes dans un environnement automatisé et compétences en matière de dactylographie, de traitement de texte et de saisie de données. Expérience en matière de traitement de sommes dargent importantes, et bonne compréhension des principes de comptabilité et de tenue de livres. La personne choisie doit pouvoir démontrer quelle est en mesure de travailler efficacement avec le public dans un environnement stressant à multiples facettes, souvent dans des situations de conflit et de nature délicate. La personne choisie doit faire preuve de jugement sain, dun souci du détail et dune capacité de travailler sous pression tout en respectant les délais. Dexcellentes aptitudes en matière de relations interpersonnelles et de communication sont essentielles. Le commis-greffier doit faire preuve dune grande confidentialité. Il est préférable davoir une bonne connaissance du système juridique et des services gouvernementaux aux fins de recommandation. La personne choisie offrira des services en français et en anglais. They will receive and balance monies paid into the court, deal directly with the public and in particular self-represented litigants, enter and retrieve data from automated systems, scrutinize, record and process documentation, maintain filing systems, monitor new/changing legislation and procedures and work as a team player to develop solutions to new processes. They also may attend court as a court clerk to call cases and swear or affirm witnesses, interpreters and translators and enter data and hearing results.Qualifications and ExperienceTo be successful in this position, you hold four years of related experience or an acceptable equivalent of related experience and training with exposure to the justice system. Post-secondary training in a related discipline with experience in a legal environment is an asset. Experience and competency in an automated environment with proficient and accurate typing, word processing and data entry skills is required. Experience in processing large amounts of money is essential, with a proven understanding of accounting/bookkeeping principles is also required. The successful candidate must have a demonstrated ability to deal effectively with the public in a multifaceted and stressful environment, often in confrontational and sensitive situations. They must demonstrate sound judgment, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and deadlines. In addition, strong interpersonal and communications skills are required. The Clerk must exercise a high level of confidentiality. Sound knowledge of the justice system and government services for referral purposes will be considered an asset. The successful candidate will provide services in English and French, therefore fluency in both English and French is a requirement.Additional InformationThis competition is to fill one Permanent and one Term bilingual employment opportunity based in DIGBY. The anticipated end date of the Term opportunity is October 24, 2024.
