Physicians participate in an on-call rota and inpatient care. They also have access to procedure rooms for minor lumps & bumps and have the option to provide Emergency Department coverage. All team members work collaboratively to provide patient care and hold regular team meetings. This is a turn-key clinic operated by Nova Scotia Health Authority. Physicians complete their billings on their own or hire billing support.Digby General Hospital, historically founded in 1924, provides medical care to residents of the surrounding areas including primary, inpatient, restorative, and ambulatory care as well as day surgery. Located in Digby, the 20-bed medical and alternate level of care (ALC) unit works closely with the collaborative emergency centre (CEC) in Annapolis Royal and Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.
