A leader in the Maritime Forest Products Industry, the Doaktown Sawmill is currently seeking a motivated individual to fill the position of Student: Production Support.The Job:Being a part of the Production Support team means your primary responsibility is to provide general labour support to the production teams while ensuring the safe and continued operation of the Doaktown Sawmill, Planermill, and Value-Added lines. The ideal candidate for this role will understand that this position will include shifts that can operate overnight. Qualifications:Education Required: Currently in good academic standing at educational instituteAny previous related work experience would be considered an assetMust be a self-starter and team playerExperience in a sawmill or production/manufacturing setting is considered an assetKey Responsibilities:This is a site-wide position, where the individual will work in a variety of areas; duties include:Committing to and always promoting the use of safe practicesCleaning upHandling and lifting materialsMust be hard working with a strong work ethicThe position will require minimum 9 hr. shifts and may include night and weekend shiftsOther general labour responsibilitiesTo Apply for this Career Opportunity:Please apply online.We appreciate your interest in our company!
