  • Plan material needs and communicate a procurement plan that meets the needs of the master schedule
  • Manage placement of Purchase Orders and administration of related activities
  • Review and manage Master Order Approval and related demand requirements
  • Measure the performance gaps as compared to the schedule for each supplier and propose/implement adjustment measures
  • Work in a change management environment with a strong focus on the customer
  • Manage the time gaps affecting the material entries by proposing solutions and interacting with the various groups involved in the changes such as Methods, Engineering, Programs and Production
  • Maintain the metrics integrity
  • Determine the order points, maintain the product structure, and manage stock levels
  • Maintain and produce performance indicators
  • Manage all unplanned activities, measure cost variance and all other tasks related to planning of material needs in order to meet production requirements
QualificationsAs our ideal candidate,
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in operations management or industrial management OR a college diploma in the same fields
  • You have seven (7) to ten (10) or more years of experience in the same field and in a similar position
  • You possess Aerospace electrical components and harness knowledge (an asset)
  • You have good priority management and multitasking skills
  • You have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in change management
  • You have good knowledge of software such as Excel, Access and PPT
  • You have expert knowledge and experience as a buyer in SAP
  • You have a sense of urgency
  • You possess strong communication skills, written and spoken (French and English), spoken Spanish (an asset)
