Are you looking to work in the aerospace industry in Dorval but have no prior experience Does being an airplane safety equipment technician sound interesting to you Do you love to tinker around with parts and pieces as a hobby or are you at all mechanically inclinedIf you have answered yes to any of these questions, we have the coolest job for you. Our client in Dorval is looking for an airplane safety equipment technician to join their growing team. As an airplane safety equipment technician, you will work along side a qualified technician to inspect, repair and test different components of airplanes. - Day shift 6:30am - 3:00pm

Responsibilities
  • Follow the instructions listed in the OEM manual
  • Tie knots
  • Work in pairs to execute small repairs and tests
  • Lifting and folding of tires, slides and other equipment
  • Rigging different components
Qualifications
  • High school diploma
  • Be comfortable lifting up to 50lbs in some cases
  • Be comfortable in a warm environment with a slightly chemical smell
  • Be teachable and eager to learn
  • Works well with others
  • Be able to read
