  • Be part of the Customer Experience team and will share responsibilities in maintaining the customer area.
  • Interface regularly with the various customer relations team to understand and define customer needs.
  • Prepare lunch set-ups (both buffet and table service style).
  • Assist in inventory count & budget tracking.
  • Replenish customer conference rooms, offices, lounges, bistro & dining rooms.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of customer area to provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Do daily beverage and food services, clear tables, clean-up and organize kitchen.
  • Be involved in continuous improvement initiatives, KPIs and other office-related tasks.
  • Ensure a warm and professional welcome for visitors.
  • Coordinate requests and manage the specific needs of clients and other partners during their visit.
  • Negotiate with caterers and various service providers for the organization of internal and corporate events when needed.
  • Act as an intermediary with the management of the building for service calls, as well as with the various service or equipment suppliers relating to the proper functioning of the customer area.
  • Ensure that the work environment projects a highly professional image that lives up to the companys brand.
QualificationsAs our ideal candidate,
  • You have 5 years minimum in Hotel/Restaurant service experience.
  • You are Customer-oriented, pay attention to detail and have strong interpersonnal skills by mmaintaining courteous relations with all internal and external contacts.
  • You are adaptable & flexible in the face of sometimes changing requirements; maintain a positive attitude, whatever the circumstances and can handle conflicting priorities without losing temper.
  • You are organized: time management; space management; task management; can plan and coordinate activities and workload optimally.
  • You are proactive: anticipate different potential outcomes, take action or problem solve.
  • You have excellent communication skills, including good English and French verbal & writing skills and maintain a courteous behavior.
  • You have social and emotional intelligence: able to discern the best way to meet needs sometimes with minimal knowledge of the individuals.
  • You are a team player: handle responsibilities well as a member of a group, as well as when solely responsible for a task or outcome.
  • You have good judgment: able to make reasonable decisions in the absence of direction; refer issues to another (appropriate) person in a timely manner, can be trusted to work without constant supervision.
  • You are able to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion of our clients & all company information.
  • You have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office program (Word, Excel). PowerPoint an asset.
