Were currently looking for a dispatcher with daily operations to join our dispatch team.Main tasks:- Planning and dispatching of highway units and scheduling pick-up and deliveries for drivers- Updating delivery status- Communicating with drivers and be always up to date on freight position and status- Customer service updates via e-mail or phone to ensure customers are apprised of all delays and issues if any- Assisting the lead dispatcher with next day schedule planning- Communicating with distribution (special local deliveries, missing PODs, etc..)- Maintain an effective working relationship with other departments such as accounting, sales and fleet services- Maximize profitability by superior client service, retention of clientele, effectual and prompt communications as well as follow-up on pending matters with customersDesired Skills and Experience:- Previous logistics, TL and dispatch experience- Knowledge of refrigerated trailers is an asset- Good oral and written communication skills required for interaction with customers and drivers- Good time management with an ability to prioritize and multi-task- A team player and work well with others- Detail-oriented, computer savvy and well organized- Fluent in both English and FrenchJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSchedule:
