When you choose Air Transat, you benefit from competitive compensation, a full range of fringe benefits and a travel advantages program, but first and foremost you work with a team of aviation enthusiasts.The Instructor, Flight Dispatch is responsible for the initial and recurrent training of flight dispatchers.Responsibilities Work closely with the Team Leader, Technical Flight Dispatcher and Training;Monitor the initial and recurrent acquisition of flight dispatcher qualifications and skills;Prepare and deliver qualification and requalification courses;Recommend course syllabus revisions to the Team leader, Technical Flight Dispatcher and Training;The work schedule will be based on 168 hours per rotation. Experience as a flight dispatcher;Successful completion of Transport Canada exams (FD-MET and FD-OPS);Possess a restricted radio operator certificate;Sufficient knowledge of aviation regulations (CARs 602, 700, 725);Knowledge as a trainer would be an asset;College diploma or equivalent;Oral and written proficiency in both French and English;Leadership and interpersonal skills.Employment EquityAt Transat, we foster an environment where inclusiveness, respect and equity reign.
