  • Take charge of solving technical problems in the pre-flight and delivery sectors with the support of other services;
  • Technically support the daily activities of production;
  • Work closely with the engineering, production, logistics and quality functions;
  • Investigate the root causes of problems and analyze potential solutions by evaluating the costs, impacts and risks of a change in production;
  • Be on the lookout for ways to improve assembly and manufacturing strategies in addition to taking part in research and development projects;
  • Validate and correct the work instructions intended for the manufacture or assembly of aircraft components;
  • Interpret the drawings and other documents from the engineering department;
  • Define the tools necessary for the manufacture or assembly of aircraft components in order to ensure the required geometric tolerancing;
  • Harmonize the implementation of engineering or assembly strategy changes by working in close collaboration with the engineering, material logistics, quality and production departments;
  • Ensure the feasibility and plan the changes requested by production and by customers (RFQ);
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate non-added value and optimize production.
QualificationsAs our ideal candidate,
  • You have a technical college diploma and / or equivalent experience;
  • You have 5 years or more of experience in aeronautics;
  • You are comfortable reading technical drawings, good 3D visualization and good analytical skills;
  • You have good logic and a good mechanical mind;
  • You have an excellent team spirit; you are recognized for your perseverance and your judgment;
  • You have good judgment; you are innovative and have a good decision-making process;
  • You have a strong customer mindset and good interpersonal communication skills;
  • You know the software of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
  • You are familiar with computer-aided design software such as Catia, AutoCad, Enovia…;
  • You are familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as BAAN, SAP, etc.;
  • You master the French language, both orally and in writing, and you have a good knowledge of the English language;
  • Knowledge of aircraft structure, systems and interior finish will be considered an asset.
