Job Description

Class3 Driver - City P&D Mon Fri (0900 to 1700)- Montreal TEMP, QCMidland Transport Limited has become a leader in the transportation industry by providing superior quality service to our customers. Our services include LTL, T/L, Courier Services, and Third-Party Logistics/ Brokerage which provide the convenience of one-stop shipping. Midland Courier is currently seeking a Professional Class 3 Driver based in Montreal TEMP, QC Terminal. The selected candidate will be a reliable person with a strong work ethic, great and positive attitude, and exceptional customer service skills.Main Role:Manage time, pick, receive packages, and ensure accurate and timely delivery service to our client’s customer base. Enthusiastic, great attitude and exceptional customer service skills are a must to join the team.Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow the pickup and delivery procedure.
  • Load and unload the Truck properly and in a safe manner to avoid damaging packages.
  • Maintain company equipment standards.
  • Process daily pickup and delivery records.
  • Ensure timely delivery.
  • Listen to and communicate efficiently with the customer.
  • Drive and use equipment (Hand Cart) while following safety procedures and traffic laws.
  • Work in accordance with the safety regulation, company rules and procedures.
  • Report any incident, accident, injury, damage.
Requirements:
  • Education Required: High School or GED.
  • Approx. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00.
  • Class 3 driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years’ safe commercial driving experience required.
  • Clean driver’s abstract and criminal search.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to lift to 75 lbs. using the proper equipment.
  • Excellent work ethic and reliability.
  • Safety conscious.
