Your Opportunity:We are looking for an experienced mental health professional to join our Drumheller Hub Childamp; Youth Health Services team! The ideal candidate will have a completed and valid license under the Health Professions Act, be knowledgeable and have significant experience working with children and families, be flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances, and be motivated to learn and develop their clinical skills within a team environment. This position contributes to the establishment and maintenance of the Mental Health resources in the community. The successful candidate will directly provide intensive supports and treatment to complex child and adolescent patients and families. This position will service both Drumheller and Hanna communities. Drumheller will be the home site. This position will alternate days between Drumheller and Hanna, with travel occurring on work time. Drumheller is a town northeast of Calgary, in Alberta, Canada. On the edge of town, in Midland Provincial Park, the Royal Tyrrell Museum contains a large collection of dinosaur fossils. Downtown, stairs wind inside thequot;World #39;s Largest Dinosaur, quot; a giant model T-Rex with views from its jaw. To the southeast, the Atlas Coal Mine National Historic Site explores the Drumheller Valley #39;s coal-mining heritage. Working both independently and as a member of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will provide evidence informed and best practices in crisis intervention, assessment, consultation, referral, case management and treatment.
