Job Description

TECHNICIAN, CONSTRUCTION & MAINTENANCE – DRUMHELLERJOB POSTING # 24-22In this unionized position, the successful candidate safely and efficiently perform duties related to the construction, maintenance and operation of natural gas transmission and distribution systems and their related components; perform staking and inspection activities to ensure quality standards, internal policy, procedures, and external regulations are adhered to during construction; and, perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year in a construction related job
  • Valid Class 1 drivers license with air endorsement*
  • Mechanical aptitude and dexterity in the use of tools, equipment and instruments
  • Good communication and decision-making skills, and a strong work ethic
  • Good working relationships and excellent customer service
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Good judgment, motivated and works independently, maintaining a high level and quality of performance
  • Safe work habits and adherence to safety regulations
  • Certification in PE Fusion, Safe Digging, Line Location & Construction Safety*
