The incumbent will also actively participate in various projects within the plant. Familiar with IT best business practices, prepared to take on challenges, and motivated by change, the selected candidate will hold a key position within the organization.
  • Manage the plant’s IT assets in accordance with Siemens IT policies;
  • Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of the various computer servers;
  • Fix operational problems and optimize network and equipment performance;
  • Provide level 2 IT support and receive user service requests, initiate and document incident management, and assist users in problem solving;
  • Manage and participate in projects to implement new IT tools;
  • Participate in projects to implement new production equipment;
  • Promote the continuous improvement of procedures and processes within the department and the company.
** The position require to work in office at the Drummondville Plant **What will you need to succeed
  • Three years’ experience in a similar position;
  • College degree in computer science or related field;
  • Professional training in Microsoft networking;
  • MCSE certification, a strong asset
  • Experience working in a manufacturing/Plant environment, an asset
  • Ability to work within a team, collaborative spirit and strong ability to manage priorities;
  • Proven diligence, resourcefulness, and determination;
  • Excellent communication skills, and strong problem solving skills;
  • Customer focused (service and availability);
  • Excellent knowledge of French (spoken and written);
  • Excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written).
