OPTEL #39;s expertise will enable various industries to measure, inspect, control and monitor a wide variety of elements in order to improve product quality and ensure more responsible use of resources.SUMMARYSeeking a Marketing Director to lead our dynamic marketing team and elevate our brand #39;s presence in the market, to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth for Optel’s SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will possess strategic vision, a creative mindset, and a track record of successful campaign management across various channels.Strong leadership skills are required to mentor staff and foster a collaborative environment.Please note that this is a fixed-term contract of approximately 9 months, with possibility of becoming permanent.INNOVATIVE WORK ENVIRONMENT:

YOUR TASKS
  • Develop Marketing Strategies: Create and implement a comprehensive marketing plan aligned with company objectives and target market segments
  • Effectively position the product on the market
  • Build brand awareness and reputation within the industry
  • Lead Generation and Customer Acquisition:
    • Drive lead generation activities through various channels such as digital marketing, content marketing, email campaigns, SEO/SEM, social media, events, and partnerships
  • Collaborate with product management teams to develop go-to-market strategies for the platform and feature updates.
  • Content Strategy and Creation:
    • Oversee the development of high-quality content assets including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, ebooks, videos, webinars, and more.
  • Digital Marketing and Advertising:
    • Manage digital marketing channels such as PPC advertising,retargeting, social media advertising. Optimize campaigns for maximum ROI and lead conversion.
  • Marketing Analytics and Reporting:
    • Track, analyze, and report on marketing KPIs and campaign performance metrics. Master the CRM and lead management tools.
  • Team Management:
    • lead a high-performing marketing team, foster a collaborative and innovative marketing culture.
  • Budget Management:
    • Manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively.
  • Competitive Analysis:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
PROFESIONNAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • University degree or relevant studies related to marketing or commercialization
  • 10 years of marketing experience
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Must be fluent in French (written and spoken)
  • Must reside in Québec as you will sometimes have to come to the office
  • Relevant expertise in the SaaS market
  • Relevant experience in team management
  • Strong knowledge of digital channels and international fairs organization
