Job Description

Global manufacturer of machinery for the beef and dairy industry, located in Orton, Ontario is seeking Production & Inventory Control to join our team.Jaylor has always been known for its superior quality and innovation.   • Producing cutting programs for the plasma operator (custom & generic)
  • Running fulfillment on jobs, analyzing parts shortages and notifying the appropriate department of such shortage.
  • Assisting with the organizing of material handling as it relates to production flow including ensuring that work stations have their required inventory
  • Performing inventory control as required by production, including but not limited to cycle counts.
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Must possess: good verbal and written communication skills, the ability to coordinate and plan work activities, excellent attendance, good organization skills, ability to problem solve, and the ability to work as a member of team
  • Must possess: ability to use the computer, Microsoft Word and Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Sigma-Nest, Adobe Acrobat, as well as AutoCad, Inventor and ERP systems.
  • Must be capable of reading and interpreting drawings.
  • Must be mechanically inclined
  • Must possess forklift and crane certification, or have the ability to be certified.
Other Information:
  • To start as soon as possible.
  • Permanent Full-time position.
  • Wages to be based on experience.
  • Knowledge of farm equipment an asset.
