Please ensure you self-identify to be considered for this opportunity.East Preston Day Care (EPDC) has since 1974 operated a day care for infants, preschoolers and school age children for East Preston and surrounding communities. Its services have included a variety of outreach programs, through Family Resource Centre.The Parenting Journey is a home visitation program that provides support for families experiencing complex social, emotional and familial challenges. Parenting Journey Home Visitors work collaboratively with families to build meaningful helping relationships while collectively identifying strengths, resources, challenges and priorities, using a holistic and harm reduction framework.The Parenting Journey Home Visitor will provide support to families and their children age 3 to 16 years in the following areas:

• child/youth growth and development
• parent-child relationships
• parenting knowledge and skills
• family life management
• community connections and referrals

Note:

• Salary Range: $40,000-43,000.00 including benefits
