United Aggregates Inc the operator of an aggregate quarry in East Uniacke, Nova Scotia is actively looking for Tandem / Twinsteer Drivers reporting to the General Manager.,Job Description

• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
• Fill out equipment logbooks.
• Perform routine pre-operation inspection and maintenance on equipment.
• Clean, lubricate and refuel equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 Driver’s License With air brakes.
• Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures including but not limited to backing up procedures, use of spotters, signage, incident reporting, required personal protective equipment.
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Ability to efficiently communicate with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that all tasks are being completed safely and in a timely manner
• Ability to perform a variety of manual tasks requiring the use of independent judgment and action
• Must have Clean Drivers Abstract.
