Join us now and point your career forward!Job SummaryNow, if you were to come on board as our Facilities Manager, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

  • Manage the delivery of all hard and soft services operations at our client site
  • Manage direct reports by providing technical guidance, leadership, motivation, and support to team members including supervisors, coordinators, skilled and semi-skilled workers
  • Develop and implement work schedules for all subordinates to ensure proper workload and coverage of site requirements with respect to client operations.
  • Lead Joint Health and Safety Committee as management leader.
  • Promote compliance and application of QHSE and other federal, provincial, and municipal laws, codes, and regulations in the daily operations of the site.
  • Oversee the onboarding of all new hires and implementation of required training.
  • Facilitate the procurement and training of third-party suppliers and implementation of a performance monitoring and evaluation reporting model.
  • Provide technical and administrative support to client capital asset and infrastructure project development and delivery.
  • Manage budgetary needs, monitor expenditures, and take corrective action when needed.
  • Provide monthly reporting of all service deliverables and key performance metrics.
  • Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with clients, staff, and vendors.
  • Be available for on-call shifts for possible after-hours.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Think you have what it takes to be our Facilities Manager We’re committed to hiring the best talent for the role. Here’s how we’ll know you’ll be successful in the role. You have:
  • University Degree/College Diploma/Power Engineer license or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of progressive maintenance and operations experience in commercial, institutional, and manufacturing facilities.
  • Advanced facilities technical knowledge is preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and budgeting processes.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in CAFM/CMMS systems and ability to read blueprints and interpret design drawings/schematics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Common software including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Understanding of various Federal, Provincial and local codes and regulations involving construction, installation, fire, safety, and sanitation.
