Job PostingCustodianPermanent Part Time (0.5 FTE or 20 hours per week)Eastend SchoolCompetition #2993Start Date: As soon as possibleQualifications:

  • Ability to deal tactfully and cooperatively with public, students, staff
  • Proficient in the use of all hand tools and equipment
  • Good mechanical ability with strong capabilities in the area of troubleshooting
  • Good physical condition
  • Previous cleaning and floor care experience in a public facility
  • Self-directed, able to complete assigned tasks without supervision
  • Ability to lift up to and including 20 kg (frequently)Duties (may include but are not limited to):
  • Special cleaning during school breaks
  • Minor repairs and maintenance
  • Operating mechanical equipment such as: lawn mower, power scrubber etc.
  • Yard work, including lawn mowingBenefits:

  • Pay range: $18.26 to $19.44 per hour
