Administrative Assistant I(Rundle Health Centre)Salary RangeWill be negotiated based on experience*FTE*1.0 FTE (full-time, temporary – 3 year term)*Start Date*October 04, 2021*Location(s)*Rundle Health Centre ( 3427-118 T5W 0Z3)This role is based out of the Rundle Health Centre location but this role will function predominately in clinic offices alongside the Panel Management Assistants and/or Quality Improvement Coordinators.*Program Overview*The Rundle Health Centre (RHC) is a community-based primary health centre located in east Edmonton (3427-118 Ave) serving the communities of Beverly and Abbottsfield.As part of the Edmonton North Primary Care Network (PCN), the Rundle Health Centre staff work in concert with PCN member physicians, health providers, community agencies, and other PCN programs and services.*Position*Working alongside other members of the Physician Practice Supports (PPS) team, the Administrative Assistant I - PPS will ensure integration and adoption of CII/CPAR within the Edmonton North PCN among physicians and staff members. This role will also assist Panel Management Assistants and Quality Improvement Coordinators with all required administrative duties such to successfully provide instruction, education and materials to help educate the staff on CII/CPAR use, functions, and goals.*Report to*Team Lead, Rundle Health Centre*Education*High School Diploma or equivalent requiredCompletion of Medical Office Assistant or Administration Program requiredMedical Terminology Course required*Experience*Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience in a clinical settingExperience with Panel Identification, Maintenance and ManagementKnowledge of HIA PrivacyProficient in of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat programsWorking knowledge and experience with EMR’s (Healthquest, Med Access, Wolf, etc.)*Skills*Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner in addition to being able to identify the most appropriate method of communicationAbility to organize time, multi-task and set priorities to meet various deadlines and maintain a flexible scheduleAble to work with minimal supervision, organizational skills and ability to prioritizeStrong follow-through and attention to detailStrong listening, problem-solving and critical thinking skills*Application*Please forward your resume with a cover letter, indicating your salary expectations via our website: www.enpcn.com/careers*Days/Hours of Work*Monday – Friday (38.75 hours/week)One (1) evening shift per week is required (11:45a.m. - 08:00p.m.)*Dated*September 2, 2021*Closing Date*September 11, 2021*PLEASE NOTE: * Employment is contingent on a successful current Criminal Background Check, References and Proof of Immunization Status.The Edmonton North Primary Care Network offers competitive salaries and an excellent benefits program.
