Familiarity with source code control and Application Lifecycle Management is required in this position. Responsibilities include deployment of applications that are written in C#.Net, PowerBuilder, C, Pro*C, Perl, Java, Kornshell and database deployments in MS SQL and Sybase. The resource, over the course of the contract, may be tasked with other duties outside those initially supported Ministries and will be required to quickly adapt to new technologies and processes.DESCRIPTION OF SERVICESThis role is responsible for identifying, gathering, analyzing, specifying, and validating the business needs of end-users in a particular area of the business, and for IT projects or initiatives. These include interviewing stakeholders, capturing the “to-be” state, process improvements, and identifying the associated business requirements. These results convey to the Architecture, Change Management and Quality Assurance teams the breadth and nature of the end users’ needs and environment, thereby driving their solution design, change management and testing efforts.

• Facilitate requirements gathering and validation workshops.
• Develop and document project visions and approach.
• Analyze and define business requirements for determining roles relationships and data structures to meet business security privacy and operational requirements.
• Analyze and define data and information requirements needed to address business requirements used by data modelers and architects responsible for developing logical and physical data models and/or analyzing and designing class models to meet business requirements.
• Work with business clients and technical teams on the design development and implementation of business applications.
• Document, analyze, and manage business requirements.
• Develop business cases.
• Produce deliverables within specified quality standards.
• Escalate issues and risks as appropriate.
• Prepare and execute tasks in accordance with a defined project plan.
• Review and provide input on test strategies plans and test cases to ensure they adequately cover the defined business requirements.
• Execute tasks in accordance with control processes, including schedule management, status-reporting issues, risk and change management at the project and or program level.
• Attend necessary meetings to review schedule, status, issues, risk, and change management.
• Support project team members in the analysis of issues.
• Prepare status reports, meeting minutes, change requests, and other documents.
• Undertake management detailing tasks and review the timelines associated with the execution of those tasks.
• Obtain signoff on the deliverables from the appropriate program project sponsors.

MANDATORY SKILLS- The proposed resource must meet or exceed one of the following: (3+ years)

• University graduation in Information Technology or a related discipline and 3-yr Application Analyst (AA) experience;

OR

• 2-yr diploma in Information Technology or a related discipline and 5-yr AA experience;

OR

• 1-yr certificate in Information Technology or a related discipline and 6-yr AA experience;

OR

• 7 yr AA experience

- Performing build and deploy processes between multiple environments (Development, Acceptance, Production, etc.) in a Windows client server environment (3+ years)- Deep understanding of Team Foundation Server or Azure DevOps Server for source code control (3+ years)- Experience with application lifecycle management procedures (2+ years)- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices in Team Foundation Build/Azure Pipelines (2+ years)- Experience creating and maintaining batch scripts and utilities (2+ years)DESIRABLE / NICE TO HAVE SKILLS- Experience with using Visual Studio (1+ years)- Experience with using MS SQL Server (1+ years)- Experience with using Powerbuilder to build business PB apps (1+ years)- Experience as a Deployment Analyst for UNIX applications (1+ years)- Experience with using JIRA or Revision Control System (RCS) (0.5+ years)- Experience with PowerShell (0.5+ years)WHY WORK WITH TRI-GLOBALThis role allows you to grow your professional work experience and skills in a dynamic environment.
