Job DescriptionAt Arcadis, our Transit Facilities Design professionals thrive on solving problems by putting their logic and creativity together. As a member of our Team, you will have the opportunity to work on unique and leading-edge projects with a local and international focus.The position would be for an intermediate architect, either newly registered or currently doing registration internship. They would be in a supporting role to the local principal(s), transit director, as part of the Alberta Transit team which the firm is growing. The individual needs to have excellent design and technical skills relative to their years of experience, excellent communication skills, and if possible also have had some Construction Administration experience. LRT and Aviation experience is an excellent asset.This role sits within the Global Architectureamp; Urbanism Division which combines the expertise of IBI’s Buildings and Placemaking practice, our Places’ capabilities, and CRTKL’s multi-sector design leadership to offer a diverse range of solutions focusing on human-centric design, sustainability, and technology.Role Responsibilities:As an Architect in the transit studio, your role accountabilities will include:

  • Work closely with the team and team leads, principals and director you will be involved in all aspects of Transit project development end to end
  • Participate in client meetings
  • Be involved with consultant discipline coordination
  • Develop design and construction documents
  • Work in Revit and CAD
  • Develop project documentation
