Job Description

BAAN Powertrain is hiring for a full-time automotive parts inside sales/technical order desk position with powertrain parts knowledge and/or experience. We are looking for an responsible, organized, friendly, and ambitious individual that enjoys working in a team setting in a growing company and has great communication skills and shows up to work each day with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. BAAN Powertrain is a family-owned business that has grown in a short time to become Canada's largest aftermarket distributor of powertrain units. Inside sales/order desk experience and automotive knowledge and passion is an asset.Responsibilities:

  • Receive orders by phone, email or website chat and clearly and concisely communicate with customers price, availability, warranty information and all different options of product.
  • Place quotes in the system so that other team members can view and have all information available.
  • Helping customers and other BAAN team members with technical automotive knowledge related to powertrain.
  • Helping customers with technical issues realated to product and warranty concerns.
  • Ensure that all returns or product issues are handled in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare invoices, payments, shipping documents and contracts.
  • Verify inventory for invoices.
  • Filing.
  • Any other tasks that are assigned.
Education & Experience
  • Relevant knowledge and experience in powertrain repair, installation and technical knowledge.
  • Drivers abstract.
  • Order desk/inside sales experience an asset.
  • Speaking French is an asset.
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per yearBenefits:
