It is a from-scratch, small batch bakery which focuses on the savoury side of baking, with a few signature sweets.Job descriptionWe are now hiring awesome humans.We are now hiring a full-time & part-time baker & front sales staff for the newest addition to the River Valley Company family, Bread + Butter Bakery! What you will doAs key player within Bread + Butter, you will support our mission to make our team, our community, and our world a better place, one guest experience at a time. Being part of this mission will include:
  • Being responsible for ensuring bakery clients have an exceptional experience through personal interaction (applicable to front of house staff).
  • Having a passion for baking the best products and being able to recreate recipes provided (applicable to bakers).
  • Exhibiting heart and soul, thriving in a busy environment and being social and outgoing.
  • Keeping the bakery organized, clean and presentable.
  • Being able to put away grocery orders and lift heavy objects.
  • Understanding the long hours spent standing, being able to move around and having a physical job.
Personal Attributes & Qualifications
  • Previous baking or front counter experience is not mandatory, however will be considered a bonus.
  • Being able to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, organized and ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Professional and enthusiastic.
  • A sense of humour is a must.
