Job DescriptionBanquet Server (Part Time)Passionate about everything Foodamp; Beverage and putting a smile on our guests’ faces As Banquet Server, you will have the perfect opportunity to touch the hearts of our guests by making their special occasions truly unforgettable.What you will be doing:Reporting to the Director of Banquets , responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide prompt, courteous and efficient foodamp; beverage service in accordance with Fairmont Hotelsamp; Resorts foodamp; beverage standards
  • Work as part of a team to provide a consistently high standard of service in areas such as meeting set ups and all meal functions
  • Effectively handle guest concerns through empowerment, and report any irregularities to Leader
  • Report any deficiencies in equipment or level of supplies to the Banquet Captains
  • Ensure the equipment and all work areas are maintained to hotel standard
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
  • Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the hotel health and safety program
  • Assist the house team in setting up function rooms and moving banquet assets/furniture
  • Carry out any other tasks as assigned
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.
