Job Description

Major Functions and Responsibilities

  • Generate and distribute invoices for services rendered.
  • Prepare and submit revenue reports as required.
  • Research and trouble shoot billing inquiries as necessary.
  • Contact clients and collect on past due accounts.
  • Mapping clients (assigning patients to bills, editing invoices, and related responsibilities).
  • Exporting, importing, and integrating information into Great Plains.
  • Post entries into Great Plains.
  • Import monthly billing extracts.
  • Perform client and system maintenance.
  • Maintaining price lists for contracts and third party clients.
  • Maintenance of the billing manual and updating policies as needed.
  • Supporting staff at collection sites by answering their questions relating to billing.
  • Follow up on past due accounts as needed.
  • Submit claims weekly, and download the subsequent assessment.

Required Experience
  • 1 - 2 years of basic accounting or equivalent responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma.
