Home’s Pro is growing rapidly despite being in the industry for 2 years and we need YOU, someone who doesn’t mind rolling up their sleeves and making thingshappen.Job DescriptionAs a Branch Manager, you will be in charge of the operations and business growth of the branch assigned to you. You will be (1) overseeing and coordinating the daily activities and work processes of the branch to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and branch profitability; (2) managing branch staff through effective communication, coaching and team building to achieve superior performance in all key areas, with a particular focus on customer service. You are the right fit if you are driven, want to have your ideas heard from management, and want to grow alongside a company from its beginning stages!Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Directing all operational aspects including distribution, customer service, some HR duties (interviewing), administration and sales in accordance with company objectives.
  • Provide training, coaching, and development for your team.
  • Work with the warehouse supervisor to prepare for daily container receiving and stock transferring to other branches, accuracy is essential.
  • Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities; providing reports on market movement and penetration.
  • Developing forecasts, financial objectives and business plans.
  • Assist all customers quickly and professionally providing exemplary customer service; Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
  • Implement strategic methods of inventory control and management, optimize damage control and minimize inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain a safe and clean office and warehouse environment; ordering supplies as
necessary and putting theft prevention measurements in place.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
  • May need to help with Order Desk at times to respond to emails, phone and walk-in
inquiries as needed.
  • Work together with the Head Office to help develop and create policies, efficient processes and procedures, and carry out strategies.
  • Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to understand, demonstrate, and promote the Vision, Mission, and Values of the company.
  • Understanding of industry laws and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet sales targets and goals
  • Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques, technologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent writing, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft and Google Suite.
  • Good understanding of inventory management & logistics principles.
  • Have ability to lead a team with little direction in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding and awareness of cultural differences and diverse dynamics in the workplace
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Management or related fields (considered an asset).
  • Proven track record of good performance in managerial roles
  • At least three (3) years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google apps.
