Job Description

BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYSTOur Business Intelligence team is a small but impactful team that facilitates reporting and analytics at PURE. The BI team extracts data from a variety of sources and integrates them to a SQL Server data warehouse. Day to day tasks might range from developing ETL pipelines, new data marts, or modern reporting solutions while maintaining legacy ones.As the Business Intelligence Analyst in this team, the successful candidate will possess strong technical and analytical skills and the proven ability to gather, view and analyze all forms of information in detail and translate them into BI solutions.You will work directly with the BI team in an agile framework. The ideal incumbent will have an excellent familiarity of data warehousing processes and systems and outstanding interpersonal skills. Previous experience in data warehouse development is required along with reporting experience in Power BI or Tableau. You will be a key contributor who enables PURE to make decisions by turning data into actionable insights. We are looking for a highly motivated team player who enjoys collaboration but is also able to work independently on tasks to deliver solutions on time.Main Responsibilities

  • Developing tables, stored procedures, views, and pipelines to populate and update the data warehouse.
  • Extracting and merging data sets from multiple data sources. Perform data cleansing, transformation, exploration, analysis and visualization with BI technologies.
  • Support day-to-day requests for data analysis and reporting such to support data driven decision making.
Job Requirements
  • A university degree or diploma in Computing Science or similar quantitative disciplines plus 3+ years of work experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics.
  • Very strong experience in database systems including data warehouses and multi-dimensional analytic solutions. Very strong experience working with various data types.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, leadership, and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent SQL skills to write complex queries involving multiple tables and develop stored procedures, triggers, user-defined functions.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft BI technologies with a high-level knowledge of SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of Power Automate/Power Apps and Azure services such as ADF, ADL, Functions, and Logic Apps is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success with strategic analytical projects, working with various stakeholders across the business areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines, workload, and multiple complex projects.
