Job Description

Job ID: 175333The successful candidate is expected to have a broad skill set and be capable of performing diverse functions and activities, including but not limited to:- Data analysis, analytics, visualization.- Requirements gathering, documentation, analysis.- Support data modeling, transformation, data pipeline.- Interact with clients/partners (internal and/or external) to provide data products/services and promote the vision of the Data Strategy.Candidate is responsible for delivering business intelligence capabilities to support internal and external ministry stakeholders’ information needs.

  • Contribute as part of a team, responsible for delivering business intelligence capabilities to support internal and external ministry stakeholders’ information needs.
  • Deliver work products based on various sets of data, including those relevant to Ministry business areas.
  • Work with a selection of technology products that must scale to the ever-changing technology and increasing appetite for information from internal and external ministry stakeholders.
  • Must be able to work effectively with a team made up of in-house staff and contract resources.
  • Analyze data and prepare information results.
  • Gather and document client requirements.
  • Design and construct information products.
  • Capture business and technical metadata for information products.
  • Gather requirements for control processes, including schedule management, status-reporting, issues, risk, and change management at the program level.
  • Produce deliverables within specified quality standards and timeline.
  • Define and perform quality assurance on BI deliverables.
  • Respond to ad-hoc information inquiries.
  • Perform data analysis, data quality audits/reviews, statistical analysis and data mining.
  • Escalate issues and risks, as appropriate.
  • Work within a multi-vendor/staff environment.
