Our extensive product portfolio ranges from commodity products like hammer unions and needle valves, to highly engineered products like API 6D trunnion mounted ball valves.ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITYRole ProfilePosition: Customer Service and Service RepJob Location: Edmonton, ABOperating Business: ERIKS CNC Flow ControlJob Type: Full-timeStatus: Non-ExemptSummary of the RoleThe Customer Service and Service Representative’s primary role is to promote and sell the Company products in order to help achieve revenue and margin growth objectives.Responsibilities

  • Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
  • Proactively respond to customer inquiries with response time on or before customer’s requirements.
  • Complete the order process from receipt of customer orders through to dispatch using defined processes and system functionality.
  • Provide strong customer satisfaction by providing customers with answers to questions regarding products, services and delivery.
  • Resolve any situations with potential customers or existing customers, concerning their account credit, orders, deliveries or product questions and/or issues.
  • Preparation of associated documentation for goods as required by customers.
  • Actively scan the market and work closely together with outside sales and business development to identify and secure potential orders and MRO contracts.
  • Actively research competition, and utilizing smart pricing decisions and selling techniques.
  • Pro-actively promote and sell all company products in order to achieve revenue and
margin growth objectives.
  • Ability to know customer specifications and determine if product meets those requirements.
  • Quotation Follow-up.
  • Work collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Analyzing information.
  • Experience in performing to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Process driven.
  • Hands-on and Can-do attitude.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 3+ years of sales experience in a business-to-business, large/strategic customer segment
  • Engineering or Technical background an asset.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills.
  • PC proficiency, customer relationship management tools.
